chet is seven!
and we are seriously so proud of the boy chet is.
since day one, he has always had a very sweet disposition.
boys generally all get tossed into the same stereotype of being obnoxious, destructive little gaffers, but chet has honestly never been that way. sure, he can be silly and curious, but he has always been a very careful, thoughtful boy. he is seriously the perfect first child. he has eased us into parenthood, and sets an incredible example for his little brothers.
chet is an excellent reader, a darling artist, and a great student.
he is holden's best friend, and tad's biggest fan.
he rushes into nothing, worries about the cutest stuff, and often likes to stand back and watch from a distance.
he is getting a witty sense of humor that matt and i find so fun.
he is creative, organized, kind, and sweet.
he still hugs and kisses me goodbye in front of his friends when i drop him off at school everyday. yay!
he likes stuffies, lego, cars, riding his bike, and reading.
his favorite foods are still pickles, noodles, and chips.

chet is smart and good and talented. and there is doubt in my mind that he will do great 7-year-old things this year!
we love chet to bits!
we decided to not throw a party with chet's friends this year because we had lots of things planned with our family, but i did just take some donuts and balloons to our weekly wednesday after school playdate at the park, because it was so simple to do and.. because it was fun to make a fuss over him!
