we took chet to see 'the lorax' the other week.
it was a cute movie. chet loved it.
and - get this - there was even a character named chet.
{he was a small, rude character.. but i still thought it was neat. what are the odds?}
my only real complaint about the show is that taylor swift didn't play a big enough roll!
chet is getting super good with his manners.

the other day chet was really heartbroken about something. i sat him up on the couch
and gave him his blanket and, through the sobbing, he said, 'you you'.
aww. what a sweet boy, huh?
another funny manners story:
since we always tell chet 'excuse you' when he lets out a burp/toot, that is what he says.
instead of excuse ME he says excuse YOU!
excuse you = chu you.
the other night i was squeezing some ketchup out of our almost-empty ketchup bottle and it made one of those ketchup fart sounds.
chet looked at me and said 'chu you mom'.
i love how his little brain works :)
